Jarvis Smith

Co-Founding Director - My Green Pod
United Kingdom

Jarvis made a life changing commitment to millions on channel 4’s ‘eco’ observational documentary ‘Dumped’, to focus his life’s work on inspiring the masses to live more conscious & aware of the circumstances that effect our planet. In his words “I want to do all I can before I rest, knowing my children’s future is secure”. Within months of making this commitment he launched the world’s biggest ethical lifestyle publication National Geographic GREEN.

He then went on and co-founded My Green Pod the guardian quarterly supplement, now the UK’s largest ethical lifestyle magazine distributed to over 6million conscious citizens (in print & digital formats) and www.mygreenpod.com the online platform celebrating green living, daily ethical news, best in class HERO products and an ethical marketplace.

Jarvis is also founder and host of the country’s leading sustainability Awards: P.E.A (People. Environment. Achievement.) Awards now in its 10th year. He created long term partnerships with the World’s leading ethical companies including Yeo Valley, Triodos Bank, Interface, Octopus Energy, Tesla, Myenergi, Mitsubishi, Weleda, River Cottage, Soil Association, Pukka Herbs and Renault to name but a few.

He has taken council from some of the most influential spiritual leaders & personally demonstrates that a fine balance of creativity, hard work, vision & leadership, underwritten with an open & flexible attitude to Nature and Spirituality is perhaps the remedy for great success.

His debut self-titled album ‘The Phoenix Rose’ reached no.1 in the Global Reverberation reggae charts and features Bob Marley’s lead guitarist Jnr. Marvin. Jarvis believes music can shift consciousness on mass. Album out on all platforms.
